To be delivered in partnership with our Regional member, the Caribbean Bermuda and Latin America (CBLA) Foundation, our 2026 Summit will be held at the iconic JW Marriott Panama, overlooking the Bay of Panama and Pacific Ocean.

The theme of this milestone event is, Crime Convergence, reflecting the evolving nature of transnational criminal networks, where trafficking, financial crime, cybercrime, organized crime, corruption and exploitation increasingly overlap.

Against this backdrop and recognizing an incredible 50 years of Crime Stoppers providing trusted platforms for citizens to safely share information to assist authorities in the pursuit of justice, this World Summit will highlight the importance of public-private engagement, intelligence sharing, collaborative partnerships, and cross-border cooperation in preventing and disrupting these interconnected threats.

We invite global leaders from government, law enforcement, international organizations, civil society, academia, the private sector and Crime Stoppers programs to join us in advancing practical cooperation, intelligence sharing, and collaborative strategies to strengthen public safety worldwide.

High-Level Agenda

  • Wednesday 14 October

    Arrivals, Registration Desk open (from 1600), and Exhibitor set-up (1200-1600).

    The Summit Welcome Reception (1800-2100) will provide delegates and guests the chance to connect or re-connect and build rapport, setting the stage for two productive days identifying areas of current fragmentation and emerging risks, ahead of developing a transformative, forward-looking shared vision of action.

  • Thursday 15 October

    Day One will begin to explore closing the seams in our systems, structures and partnerships that criminal networks exploit; and how we can build the intelligence capability to map, anticipate and dismantle them.

    A Gala Summit and Awards Dinner will provide time to debrief, foster deeper engagement, celebrate 50 Years of Crime Stoppers, and recognize some of the most outstanding contributions made to community safety over the last 12 months.

  • Friday 16 October

    Day Two will examine the critical pressure points within criminal networks and how coordinated action can unravel them; how we can get ahead of the curve by moving toward predictive, intelligence-led approaches; and how we can shape public-private partnerships, cross-border collaboration, and spur enhanced community intelligence to advance global security.

    A Farewell Panama event will provide time to strengthen networking, allow for a wind-down, and a celebration of new connections. This is an optional extra and ticketed separately.

    This year’s prestigious Crime Stoppers International Global Annual Award winners will be posted the week commencing 12 October.

    Winners of select categories, along with recipients of the President’s Award, will be announced at the Summit Gala Dinner.

Panama has been chosen to host this important event in recognition of its status as a major international trade, logistics and financial hub, home to the critical international shipping artery – the Panama Canal, and the Central American headquarters for many leading, global corporations and agencies.

The five-star JW Marriott Panama is a spectacular 70 floors waterfront hotel and condominium tower in the area of Punta Pacifica, Panama City. It is the tallest building in Central America, with sweeping views over the Bay of Panama, and its striking design resembles a sail facing out to the Pacific Ocean. The hotel’s 12th Floor is our Summit venue for all plenary and breakout sessions, lunches, Welcome Reception, Gala Summit and Awards Dinner, and Summit exhibitors.

  • Citizens from most countries, including the US, Canada, UK, Australia, the EU, Japan and Singapore can enter Panama visa-free but must have a passport that meets the validity requirements for Panama, proof of economic solvency (cash or credit card statement indicating at least US $500), a return/onward ticket (note: this is a strict requirement), and your vaccination record (recommended).

    If you are not from a visa-exempt country (see the full list here), you may need a ‘stamped’ or ‘authorized’ visa from a Panamanian Consulate.

  • Daytime temperatures remain warm, usually hovering between 75°F and 85°F (24°C to 29°C). Humidity is high, being the rainy season, so it’s not uncommon to experience sunny mornings with fast-moving, heavy showers in the afternoon. Pack a light rain jacket if you plan to stay on and do some sightseeing.

  • The iconic 70-story JW Marriott hotel is a 5-star oceanfront property with stunning bay views situated in Punta Pacifica, renowned for its excellent service, quality dining/catering, diverse amenities, and close proximity to Punta Pacifica’s shopping and upscale neighborhoods.

    The hotel boasts luxurious rooms; 4 restaurants and bars; a wellness level with gym, cardio equipment, outdoor pools and spa; 24-hour room service; a business center; shops within the building; and the 13th-floor pool area is a major highlight, featuring multiple pools, including an infinity pool with ocean views, a pool bar, and cabanas.

    Typical travel time from Tocumen International Airport is 20-30 minutes by taxi and usually at a fixed rate – often around US $30 – but it is wise to confirm this with your driver.
