The strength and reach of our international partnerships have never been more vital. By forging new alliances and deepening existing relationships, we continue to build bridges that empower communities, enhance law enforcement capabilities, and drive innovation across borders. Our collaborative projects – from pioneering cybercrime prevention initiatives to advancing forensic identification, supporting global intelligence missions and driving industry and community engagement – demonstrate the power of working together for shared impact. These mutually beneficial partnerships are a cornerstone of our mission, enabling us to tackle complex challenges and deliver lasting change for safer societies worldwide, with our incredibly popular Exposing The Illegal Empire podcast series (available on Spotify and Apple Music) being a prime example. We are exceedingly grateful to our longer-term global supporters and project partners, and we were delighted to formally partner with the following during 2025: In partnership with Fortinet, we look forward to fully activating our ground-breaking Cybercrime Bounty program that will extend the trusted model of anonymous crime reporting into the digital realm, empowering individuals—including citizens, ethical hackers, researchers, and private-sector experts—to safely and anonymously submit cybercrime intelligence. This initiative will strengthen digital resilience by making high-quality human intelligence available to relevant authorities, enabling law enforcement to investigate and prosecute cyber offenders more effectively. The Cybercrime Bounty program exemplifies the power of public–private collaboration, broadening participation in cybercrime prevention and reinforcing our global leadership in anonymous reporting.

From delivering keynote addresses at international conferences and participating in expert panels, to contributing to groundbreaking reports and leading collaborative forums, we are incredibly proud of the direct and meaningful contributions across the global landscape made by our team, including at or through the following: These efforts have advanced best practices, fostered cross-sector partnerships, and inspired innovative solutions in areas such as cyber safety, crime prevention, digital trust, and social impact.

Continuous improvement of corporate governance
|
|
We stand at the threshold of a new era – guided by strengthened corporate governance and a renewed commitment to excellence. The appointment of dynamic management team members to support our new CEO, Hayley van Loon, marks a bold step forward in shaping our strategic direction and driving innovation: Davina Mansfield, Head of Program Delivery and Impact Jarrad Warwick, Head of Strategic Technology and Capability; and Gill Wilson, Head of Sponsorship and Fundraising
Likewise, in welcoming another two renowned subject matter experts to our Specialist Advisory Panel – Mick O’Connell and Jorij Abraham – we have deepened our expertise and enhanced our ability to navigate complex challenges. The Board of Directors thanked and bid farewell to Region 7 representative, South African Director Yusuf Abramjee, and was pleased to appoint Region 3 nominee, Alejo Campos, on behalf of the Caribbean, Bermuda and Latin America (CBLA). As President of Crime Stoppers Panama and COO and Regional Director for the CBLA Crime Stoppers Foundation, Alejo brings a wealth of regional knowledge and hands-on experience to the Board. We also recognize the safeguarding of our business’s cyber integrity is more vital than ever and are investing in robust digital defenses to protect our operations. Together, these actions position us to embrace the coming New Year with confidence, resilience, and purpose.

Identifying and advocating best practice
|

Throughout 2025, Crime Stoppers International played a pivotal role in advancing best practice on the global stage. By actively attending and contributing to leading conferences, industry forums, and collaborative workshops, we showcased and directly shaped the identification of best practice across the spectrum of transnational serious and organized crime types that we remain laser-focused on – cybercrime, human trafficking including online child sexual exploitation, financial crime, wildlife and environmental crime, illicit trade, and wanted international fugitives – at: Our team’s expertise and thought leadership have encouraged the adoption of innovative solutions, fostered cross-sector partnerships, and inspired others to raise the bar for excellence. These efforts ensure that we are at the forefront of progress, driving positive change and setting new benchmarks for impact and integrity. We share insights gained with our partners and our members who, in turn, share them with their members, enhancing overall capacity and capability across the global Crime Stoppers family.

Spotlight on: best-in-class

Our Annual Awards have long been a prestigious global platform celebrating the remarkable achievements of Crime Stoppers programs and partners and also honoring individuals who exemplify extraordinary commitment to our mission and vision at local, national, and international levels. This year, the Awards underwent a significant and highly successful refresh that included opening the Awards to direct entries from the corporate sector to allow for recognition of entities not necessarily working directly with a Crime Stoppers program but achieving outstanding results in reducing crime, increasing community awareness for crime, and increasing law enforcement capacity or capability. Congratulations to all winners, and sincere thanks to everyone who submitted a nomination!
